KPR School and Child Care Update for April 4, 2025

We are pleased to share that power has been restored to almost all KPR schools.听 We also recognize that there are still many students, families and staff members who continue to deal with the challenges of prolonged power outages.听

Schools and child cares are open tomorrow, Friday, April 4, except for the following two closures due to ongoing power outages:

COUNTY OF PETERBOROUGH

Buckhorn Public School
Warsaw Public School

The schools identified for closure will remain closed tomorrow for the day, even if power is restored at sites later this evening or overnight.听

As always, families should check 听 for the most up to date daily transportation information, including any individual route cancellations.

We continue to express our appreciation for everyone鈥檚 continued patience and understanding, and extend our great thanks to the utility, municipal and emergency service workers in local communities who continue to manage power restoration and clean-up efforts.
